FEATURED / LOGO / BRANDING / FERRETERIA DON BOSCO LOGO

Ferreteria Don Bosco Logo Design. Design by Walter Colindres, Multi-Discipline Designer.

This logo I designed for my dad. He owns and runs his own little hardware store in Managua, Nicaragua. He asked me to design a few things for him as he is looking to establish a new look, something modern and polished.

We started with a logo. The logo mark is a house that I created by combining an electric socket, a roof and a nail. These elements are contained inside of a paint swatch. You may be asking why so many elements? Well, the store sells a lot of nails, home accessories and paint. I challenged myself to create a mark that said everything without overwhelming the viewer. Green is a healthy color (perception-wise), it says that you are taking control in trying to improve the world, your health or whatever you selling. In the context that I have used it, it means that you are taking control of your home’s health and looking to improve it.
