Logo design comps for local photographer, Jason Armstrong. We wanted a clean, professional look that felt somewhat new school with an edge. The first idea was to crop his name, which represents what he does when he looks through his viewfinder. We also came up with the idea of using the viewfinder crop marks as the letter “o”. The viewfinder is what he sees the world through. We played with a few placement variations and I found the third version to be the best. It is a strong and clean design. The viewfinder mark could be used as a stand alone logo mark as well, so we have several ways we can push his brand in.
